Case Study

Duyun-Anshun Expressway (Duyun-Anshun Expressway), referred to as "Du'an Expressway", is an expressway connecting Duyun City of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Zhenning County of Anshun City in Guizhou Province, China. It is the national expressway network of China The first section of the Zhongduyun-Shangri-La Expressway (National Expressway G7611) [3] is also an important part of the "5th horizontal" and "6th joint" in the "Guizhou Expressway Network Planning" [8].

The Duyun-Anshun Expressway started construction on January 4, 2017 [7] and opened to traffic on June 28, 2021 [10].

The Duyun-Anshun Expressway starts from Wuyang Hub in Duyun City in the east and ends at Yangjiashan Hub in Zhenning County in the west. The length of the line is 215.40 kilometers, the design speed is 100 kilometers per hour, the two-way four-lane, and the subgrade width is 26.0 meters (the two-way six-lane road from Yunwu to Huishui, and the subgrade width is 33.5 meters; the two-way eight-lane road from Huishui to Changshun, the subgrade width 41.0 meters).

There are 26 Tunnels on this Expressway, total 65 Loop Dimming Controllers（Loop circuit dimming switches) on their Smart Tunnel Light Cabinets. The Intelligent Street Lighting illuminance sensor will dimming the tunnel lamps automatically to its demand brightness expecttion by detect the Daily Changing Ambient Light Intensity, to keep the light brightness of interior tunnel and exterior the tunnel Linearly smooth transition. When there is no huge difference in brightness,  the  intelligent LED Lighting monitoring and control management sysem will ensure that drivers immediately adapt to the "Black Tunnel and Whitle Tunnel Effect" of the highway tunnel lighting ,to ensure the comfort and safety of drivers to the greatest extent.
